Mary Jane, Inspiration, Creation
Loveland Puff & Paint
Casey's paintings range from minimalistic to truly bizarre. She creates her abstract and nonrepresentational works using a variety of mediums, including acrylic, lacquer, water color, ink and spray paint. Her hope is that her psychedelic and ethereal art work inspire creativity and bring joy to viewers.
Dan creates these incredibly unique pieces using solar pyrogrophy. He focuses sunlight through a magnifying class to create woodburning art. The convex surface of the magnifying glass bends the sunlight inwards, focusing its energy to a point hot enough to char the wood.
As you can see, the result is a powerfuly positive-negative image.
